Our story

It all began in the winter of 2019. That year, our founders met in the mountains of British Columbia when it was the perfect time for snow skiing. Yes, the founders were met on the snow. After skiing, Aswin found he took Rejo's helmet for mistake when he got back home. Aswin tried to contact Rejo so that he could return the wrong helmet and get his own back. It turned out Rejo also took David's helmet for mistake. Long story short, the helmet David took home was Aswin's. That is the beginning of the friendship. We share the similarity as travellers, so in the end we decided to found this company.

The team

Aswin, CEO and co-founder

Aswin co-founded Voyage back in 2019 with the mission to create a world-class travelling exerience in Canada for travelers around the world who are looking for a perfect trip. Under his leadership, Voyage canada has grown into the one of largest travel site in Canada. As CEO, Aswin has led the growth of Voyage Canada, which includes a lot travel media brands that operate in different markets worldwide. Prior to co-founding Voyage Canada, Aswin was president of Trip India, a travel agency company in India, and prior to that, was co-founder and vice president of another big company which we will not tell you its name. Aswin holds so many software patents that without which our company cannot survive the current covid crisis. Over the years Aswin has won a number of awards for his entrepreneurship and leadership in the travel industry.

Rejo, CTO and co-founder

Rejo is the Chief Technology Officer at Voyoge Canada, responsible for leading the company’s engineering organization worldwide. With over 2 years of experience at Voyage Canada, Rejo has touched nearly every area of the business. Rejo continues to lead engineering for the Experiences & Travel Package design unit in addition to his global information technology role that spans across all of Voyage Canada globally. Prior to joining the Voyage team, he was involved with several early stage startups across media, FinTech and mobile technology verticals, both as a founder and in engineering leadership roles.

David, CFO and co-founder

David is responsible for overseeing Voyage Canada's global finance operations including accounting, investor relations, tax, corporate development and real estate, as well as leading operations for the skiing business in north America. David previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Trip China, formerly known as TC., where he had similar responsibilities. Prior to that, David was a founder and director of two corporate finance and management consulting firms, again, I cannot tell you the names. Before that, he worked in investment banking as an executive director at another big companny in Shanghai. Early on, David worked as a tax consultant at a small company, a global strategy firm in Europe and Asia.
